Alibaba (traded as BABA) is a major Chinese online retailer. Various rating agencies estimate its worth at $260 billion. Extensive customer base includes both businesses and individuals. This online store is widely used outside China.
The company’s listed on the exchange since 2014. Alibaba shares are primarily traded on the American exchange NYSE. The key peculiarity of the instrument is its high volatility. BABA stock is perfect for speculative trading.
The range of price fluctuation during one year is about 30%. The movement can be easily predicted using indicators and other tools of technical analysis. However, sudden price swings cause certain difficulties: the stock often breaks through Stop Loss orders before only to reverse in the opposite direction right afterwards. Alibaba stock is recommended for intraday trading, use a chart with a timeframe of four hours or more.
