Shares wobble amid the U.S. public holiday

European stock futures are mixed today, while the Wall Street holiday limits economic activity. DAX futures traded 0.3% lower, CAC 40 futures were up 0.6%, and FTSE 100 futures fell 0.3%.

The U.S. dollar slid today despite limited volatility. The Dollar index dropped 0.1% to 104.810, still near a two-decade high.

Oil prices edged up today after a series of losses with Brent crude futures up 0.5%, and WTI crude futures gaining 0.4%.
