Oil prices rose today after losses in this session amid concerns over fuel demand and an expected big rate hike by Fed. Brent crude futures were up 0.4%, and WTI crude rose 0.3%.
Euro rose after the announcement of the ECB’s governing council about an emergency meeting on Wednesday to discuss the recent sell-off in bond markets. The euro rose 0.55% against the dollar.
The S&P 500 closed lower yesterday as it didn’t manage to rebound from a sharp sell-off. The broadest American index lost 0.38%, Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.5%, and Nasdaq Composite was up 0.18.
