Euro plummets to a two-decade low

European stock futures are up today after yesterday’s slump. DAX futures traded 1.1% higher, CAC 40 futures were up 1.2%, and FTSE 100 futures rose 1%.

The U.S. dollar slid today with the DXY index down 0.1%, while EUR/USD achieved its two-decade weakest level of 1.0236 recently.

Oil prices rose about 3% today with Brent crude up 2.9%, and WTI crude 2.7% higher.

Gold is traded near a seven-month low today, as the dollar rises and investors search for safety. Spot gold is slightly up at $1766.50 today.
