Asian market continues smooth descent after Japanese stocks finished holidays – Nikkei 225 decreased 1.28% on the first day. China and South Korea follow up: KOSPI down by 0.44% and Shenzhen Component by 0.29%. Such a negative trend is associated with COVID-19 together with central banks tightening monetary policy.
Oil rises: Brent crude’s higher 0.3% today to 81.13$ and WTI Crude futures gained 0.4% to 78.53$. Such tendency might be caused by USD weakening.
Dollar index stays still since reaching 96.938 on November 24. It stagnates between this mark and 95.544 as investors are awaiting of Powell’s decisions on monetary policy.
The price of Brent crude is 81.64$, WTI — 79.06$, GBP/USD — 1.3615, EUR/USD — 1.1345 and gold costs 1809.65$ per ounce.
