12.10. Fall in Asian stocks amid energy crisis; instability and decline on Wall Street

News for today, October 12th:

The global energy crisis has heightened general inflation concerns, dampening investor sentiment ahead of the US corporate earnings season. As a result, Asian stocks fell on Tuesday, while the dollar retained its positions. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan fell 0.9% in early trading after the previous session ended with moderate losses for US stocks.

Oil prices fell on Tuesday for the first time in four days in what analysts described as a respite after weeks of gains driven by a rebound in global demand that is contributing to energy shortages in major economies. US equities also ended lower on Monday as investors were worried ahead of the third-quarter earnings season. JPMorgan was down 2.1% in one of the biggest falls for the S&P 500 alongside Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN), which fell 1.3%.

The price of Brent crude is $ 83,76 per barrel, WTI — $ 80,54. EUR/USD is at 1.1568, GBP/USD —1.3606, gold is at $ 1,761.01 per ounce.
