The latest data showed that manufacturing activity in Asia was down in September as a result of the economic slowdown and factory closures in China caused by the coronavirus pandemic. European stocks fell 3.4% as of the end of September, reaching the worst monthly indicator in almost a year.
European stock futures experienced a recession of more than 1% on Friday after losses on Wall Street the day before. Asian stocks followed Wall Street, while bonds rallied amid growing fears of persisting inflation even after the peak in the global economy.
