Changes in margin requirements for certain Forex instruments

Dear clients!

Since November 20th 2017, the margin requirements for several instruments of Forex category are going to change. They will be brought to the average market values. For instance, the margin for NOK and SEK pairs will double, and for SGD, ZAR, CNY, MXN and SILVER pairs will be increased fourfold and for HKD and DKK pairs will be increased tenfold.

The changes will affect StandardMicro and Swap Free accounts. Please be careful and bring your trading balances into accordance with the new requirements until the 20th of November. Make sure that you have sufficient amount of funds on your account or your open positions will be force-closed.

Detail specifications. New margin requirement percentage is specified after each pair:

  • CHF/SGD Swiss Franc vs. Singapore Dollar — 4%

  • EUR/HKD Euro vs Hong Kong Dollar — 10%

  • EUR/NOK Euro vs. Norwegian Krone — 2%

  • EUR/SEK Euro vs. Swedish Krona — 2%

  • EUR/SGD Euro vs Singapore Dollar — 4%

  • EUR/ZAR Euro vs South African Rand — 4%

  • GBP/DKK British Pound vs. Danish Krone — 10%

  • GBP/NOK British Pound vs. Norwegian Krone — 2%

  • GBP/SEK British Pound vs. Swedish Krona — 2%

  • GBP/SGD British Pound vs Singapore Dollar — 4%

  • NZD/SGD New Zealand Dollar vs. Singapore Dollar — 4%

  • USD/CNY US Dollar vs. Chinese Yuan — 4%

  • USD/DKK US Dollar vs. Danish Krone — 10%

  • USD/HKD US Dollar vs. Hong Kong Dollar — 10%

  • USD/MXN US Dollar vs. Mexican Peso — 4%

  • USD/NOK US Dollar vs. Norwegian Krone — 2%

  • USD/SEK US Dollar vs. Swedish Krona — 2%

  • USD/SGD US Dollar vs. Singapore Dollar — 4%

  • USD/ZAR US Dollar vs. South African Rand — 4%

  • SILVER Silver vs. US Dollar — 4%.

Margin requirements for the rest of instruments remain the same.
